Wyatte Stuard joined the Higher Education team at Good Source Solutions in 2011. He has an extensive food service background having worked 30+ years in Institutional Food Service. Wyatte has 20+ years working in college/university dining services at University of Maryland, College Park and Colorado State University. He has a BS in Biochemistry, NRA-FMP certification and ServSafe HACCP certification.
Wyatte served as the NACUFS President-elect for the Continental region, as well as the showcase and sponsorship chair for the 2010 Continental-Pacific Regional combined conference. He has enjoyed working with Good Source Solutions so much in the past- that he decided to work for us. “They are a great company with fantastic people who stand behind the products they sell,” he says, “I’ve always been self- motivated, doing my absolute best, leading by example and never put out a meal or offering that I would not be happy to feed to my own family.”
Wyatte was born and raised in New Orleans area. He enjoys hiking the mountains and in any National Park, golfing and spending time with his grandchildren.
1. What is your idea of perfect happiness? Holding my little grandaughter or grandson and having them hug me around the neck - no better feeling in the world.
2. What is your favorite color? Blue.
3. What is your favorite sports team? Tie - LSU Tigers & New Orleans Saints.
4. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? A National Park Ranger.
5. Who is your favorite musician/band? James Taylor.
6. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? Kootenay River in BC, Canada.
7. If you could be any animal, what would you be? A Labrador Retriever - I have 2 and they are great!
8. Name one crazy unknown fact about yourself. I am a former college football official- right behind the D line.
9. What is your favorite Good Source product? Spicy Breaded Chicken Breast - I love the heat!
10. What do you like most about working at Good Source Solutions? The People - A great bunch of dedicated folks that stand behind what they sell!
